Registered Massage Therapist
Sarah graduated in April 2010 from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster British Columbia and has been registered with the College of Massage Therapists of BC and the Massage Therapy Association since that time. Sarah has been practicing in Maple Ridge for the past two years and has built up a devoted clientele. She is a very welcome addition to the staff at our Maple Place clinic and works with a variety of injuries and conditions her clients bring to her practice. Sarah continues to broaden her knowledge with post-graduate education workshops, she most recently attended the third annual Fascia Research Congress; and the list of courses she plans to attend continues to grow. She has volunteered her time and expertise in a variety of local community sports and recreational events throughout the lower mainland. Through Sarah’s practical training with the college, she was able to learn in multiple environments, which included VGH (burns, plastics, and trauma), Royal City Manor (therapeutic exercise with the elderly), on site sporting events (BMO half/full marathon) pre and post-natal care, and MS and Parkinson’s in-reaches. Somewhat of a weekend warrior, Sarah partakes in local community events, such as the Wheel to Heel 40k bike ride, recreational badminton, yoga, and most recently Tag Rugby. She has a background in field hockey, rugby, track and basketball.
